'Ive had the pleasure of taking several SOMA breathwork classes with Delphine and found them to be an incredibly eye opening experience. I have paroxysmal dyskinesia (a neurological seizure disorder) which can be triggered by substances like caffeine & alcohol OR by more unavoidable circumstances like sleep deprivation or general stress. My preference has always been to try and rely on lifestyle practices for managing symptoms because although there are anticonvulsant medications, a lot of these have unpleasant side effects like vertigo, brain fog, and insomnia. I’ve performed generic breathing exercises in the past, but I’ve never experienced results like those that accompany these SOMA techniques. Turns out we have much more control over our parasympathetic regulation than I previously realized.

After a 45 minute session with Delphine, I felt like I was floating. The full body relaxation far surpassed anything I've experienced with medication, plus the added benefit of acute mental clarity. During the first class, I was so relaxed, I nearly fell asleep sitting up. Even more marvelously, the effects carried through the rest of the day. 

Delphine has a grounding and incredibly soothing energy for leading the sessions. As a complete beginner, I felt very comfortable & safe throughout some of the more novel breathing exercises. I would strongly recommend her SOMA classes - she has techniques that target a variety of ailments, in addition to general anxiety. I've incorporated the sleep enhancing & de-stressing methods into my regular meditation to great effect.”
